Impact: College aspirants are yearning for trustworthy information consolidated at one place, students are already talking to people in scattered places to get their opinions and Education still doesn't have its equivalent of Zomato or TripAdvisor. CollegeBol will have a significant impact on how colleges (including foreign Colleges) and students find each other with a proper fit. They are doing this by first-hand socially generated objective data in the form of reviews/ratings, articles, forums and more. They have generated 18,000+ curated, high-quality reviews, 180,000 ratings across 85 courses in 1350 colleges of India from 225 locations w/o paying any reviewer. They have had 900 campus interns in as many colleges in India already and have released a Review feed, College Search, College & Course Profiles, User dashboards and more features on the Site. The unique differentiators vis-à-vis competition are high quality socially generated and verified content with high cost efficiency and revenue potential from both colleges and students through the platform. In the first two weeks of going to market the response from colleges for paid subscription plans is extremely encouraging and validates the solutions built and the business model. Scalability: CollegeBol will have a significant impact on how colleges and students find each other with a proper fit, including Indian students looking to study abroad.
