n the fight against rising unemployment, new approaches, policies, ideas and brands are needed. Startups, therefore are very important to keep the cycle of employment running, and we at Familia, are exactly trying to do the same. Apart from giving our consumers an experience of the premium Teas of Darjeeling and regions nearby, our focus is also generating employment, especially to the youth of this nation. The major sectors of employment that we are looking at are: Tea Plantations, Packaging Labourers, Marketing, Fintech and Logistics. Another major sector where Familia wants to help is the accumulation of Human Capital. • Tea Plantations : Increase in demand for the premium teas through our company will eventually lead to the tea to be cultivated, which in turn, generates employment. Especially in the hilly regions of Darjeeling, tea is one of the primary sources of income, hence increase in the demand of teas will eventually lead to more employment. • Labourers involved in Packaging : Packaging is one of the most important element of our company, and it involves a lot of labour work. From the very nascent stages, that involves scouting the teas to the very end where the teas are sent to the respective clients, packaging plays a very important role. A lot of effort and time goes into the entire process and it includes man power. This process, thus includes the employment of both skilled & unskilled labours with both experienced and new learners. • Marketing : A company thrives on marketing. In order to gain success and have a mark on the market, brains that can create the perfect flow of marketing and come up with strategies that will help the company grow, is very important. There are so many unemployed MBA graduates who are looking for jobs, our company thus aims to create jobs for such graduates who are fresh out of their colleges and are looking for blooming opportunities. Motivated and passionate graduates along with experienced personels in the field of marketing who are facing a lot of issue in finding jobs during these testing Covid times, they can approach our company for a position and we will be glad to have them on board. • Logistics : Transportation of our product from one region to another is a very important aspect of our company. Tea is a delicate product and it's transportation involves a lot of care and control. A lot of damage control goes into transferring teas. People involved with the logistics and transportation of teas are an asset to our company. This will include the revenue to circulate which, in turn, will help the economy as a whole and will also people involved in it. • Human Capital : India is a country that has immense potential both in terms of physical labour and brains.
