We have come up with an idea to solve a problem in the competitive examination space using data and analytics built around it. Our vision is to provide comprehensive, granular and personalized feedback for every single test taker appearing for competitive exams so that they know their weak areas and blind spots accurately which will help them improvise quickly. This, we believe obviates the need to go to a coaching institute, for expensive year long coaching. As a pilot, we have developed & deployed an algorithm for evaluating student performance in UPSC Civil Services Exam (Prelims stage) and have seen encouraging traction in the last 4-5 months with zero investment made in promotion/ marketing. Further, we are developing a ‘Smart Planner’ which is a time management tool intended to provide aspirants timely feedback & suggestions on a real time basis, all through their preparation journey. This is meant to guide an aspirant to manage his time is the most optimal manner considering the unique constraints and learning needs each aspirant may have. The venture, ExcelOn Academy (Private Limited) has been incorporated on 05 Jul 2020. The proof of concept has been successfully tested for UPSC prelims 2020 exam. As on date we have 9500+ registered users and our free tests have been taken 4500+ times. For the calendar year 2021, we intend to scale up for UPSC 2021 and State Public Services Examinations.
