Goodshelf is a curated marketplace which provides purer, fresher and honest food products. To increase the shelf life most food products manufacturers and packaged food products makers add harmful preservatives making them extremely unhealthy to consume. To solve the scalability issues w.r.t inventory, quality and consistency, Most e-commerce platforms end up maintaining inventory with such longer shelf life products thus adding fuel to fire. With extensive research and talking to over 200 families we have realized that people are getting extremely conscious about what they eat especially post COVID. However, with so many food brands, so many gimmicks around “organic” products and high and varied prices of similar products people are getting not only duped but also confused. It has become very hard to find even a simple authentic product which is reasonably priced. Hence, We are building Goodshelf to solve these problems both from supply and demand side. On the consumer or demand side we are building a curated marketplace where users absolutely find best quality products at a reasonable price and on the supply side we are building a strong ecosystem of local sellers who are small yet provide high quality products. This is one of a kind platform which not only helps local sellers substantially by aiding them to adopt quality and consistency techniques to improve their business but also allows consumers to find honest, authentic and alternative choices of food products.
