As per Government of India’s data the unorganized food market size is approximately $85 billion, with almost 8000 towns in India, this translates to a market size of approximately $1.08 billion per town by 2022-2023. Based on one of the recent stats published by the Indian Government, 35% of the market prefers “home-cooked food”, therefore the opportunity available for home-based entrepreneurs such as housewives or homemakers is around $400 million per year. HighRices Technologies aims to be the platform or the enabler that opens this world of opportunity for this class of unorganised sector.
