Greetings for the day. You are aware since the last decade, much has been talked about Health awareness, and in many areas rapid strides have been witnessed – in terms of facial Creams, hair oils, soaps, foods, beverages and so on. In the last mentioned two areas about Food and Beverages, here too much has been talked about the introduction of health drinks for all ages, the mix comprising of various grains, fibres etc., The decade has witnessed giants jumping into the fray. The extent of market penetration is best left to the end user.Going through the labels stuck on such Multigrain Health mixes and drinks, one can notice that the contribution of various grains like Millets appears to be the least , with the major contribution coming from Oats, which all of us are fully aware. We, at Janata Foods and Beverages Pvt. Ltd, believe that the contents should be reversed in order for the end user gets the full benefit of the nutritious that go with the various types of Millets. It is our endeavors and belief, through this Introductory Note that consumer should reap the benefits in its entirety.As a first step in this direction, we have embarked on an ambitious venture to popularize the uses of Millets, which dates back to over 2000 years, through the introduction of biscuits/cookies, baked using Millets to the fullest extent with no preservatives added. Enclosed herewith is a free sample pack of cookies, which normally goes with tea or coffee. We would appreciate in getting a feedback on all aspects which will provide us with information requiring improvisation. This, but will be a source of strength, inspiration and confidence to continue with our journey in this direction with the introduction of many more Millet based food items to be followed with beverages.
