KALIKA METALS AND ALLOY LLP is an innovative manufacturing startup engaged in the recycling of used lead-acid batteries and the production of high-quality refined lead and lead alloys. The startup aims to establish a modern, environmentally compliant lead recycling and processing facility at MIDC Krushnoor, Nanded, Maharashtra. The proposed unit will recover approximately 442 MT of lead per month through scientific recycling of used lead-acid batteries and will further procure and process 458 MT of lead from approved domestic sources to achieve a total finished lead production capacity of 900 MT per month. The startup is committed to promoting a circular economy by converting hazardous battery waste into valuable industrial raw materials while ensuring safe and sustainable manufacturing practices. By reducing dependence on imported lead, conserving natural resources, minimizing environmental pollution, and supplying quality lead products to battery manufacturers and allied industries, the company contributes towards the Government of India's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, resource efficiency, and sustainable industrial growth. The project is expected to generate significant direct and indirect employment opportunities and strengthen India's domestic supply chain for the battery and energy storage sector.
