Currently, the filmmaking industry is lacking a robust technical structure that can engender a platform and offer multidimensional services in film production to help production houses make their businesses profitable in the long run. Our app, Kinosphere, aims to build that technical structure by establishing a platform that connects job seekers and job providers in the film industry, therefore, helping production houses and film management organizations reduce their operations cost by eliminating the usage of casting agencies/agents and third-party service providers working at exponentially high commission rates. Kinosphere will also bridge the gap between small-scale filmmakers and suppliers of industry essential equipment at user-friendly rental costs for every level of filmmakers to direct and produce films. Furthermore, the app will also serve as an OTT platform for short films to gain more traction and viewership from people and even professional filmmakers.
