Remaining 10% used by the HORECA/ Food-Industries. Not even 1% of these Dehydrated Onions is used by the Domestic/ Retail market. Why? Lack of awareness. No Education about the product/ its benefits. Even if half of the population starts using Processed Onions then in next 5 years 1) Onion Prices controlled, as Dehydrated becomes alternative to Fresh onions. Continuous supply in winters, hoarding checked customer benefits. 2) Tremendous Opportunity in Wealth Creation for processing Industry. 3) Farmers can Directly sell to Dehydrators securing MSP. 4) Many Jobs created in manufacturing, Warehousing, distribution sales, software technology so much more scope. 5) The urban/upper class buys processed onions and with Fresh Onion prices controlled the poor can afford more onions.
