In last 50 years, most things related to construction material changed and evolved. Waterproofing layers evolved as well, however most of the advancements happened in the chemical composition, form and the application method. However, MOISTURE LEAKAGES in any waterproofing membranes are ongoing problem. In majority of cases ‘moisture entry point’ through the breach in concealed waterproofing layer is usually different than the actual ‘moisture exit point’ - a leak. If we inject grout from bottom, we get into vicious cycle, since in the matter of time, leaks will start to appear from someplace else. We have to start by accepting that the very best of waterproofing applications might leak in future due to reasons out of the control of membrane manufacturer. The question is, what do you then to resolve a problem instead of starting a blame game?
