We build an affordable IoT carbon offset monitoring device that attaches to biogas plants and automatically converts methane production into verified carbon credits. The device continuously monitors gas output, generates tamper-proof measurement records, and issues blockchain-verified carbon credits with no manual data entry or third-party verification required. This eliminates the high cost of carbon credit verification that currently makes the process uneconomical for small and household biogas plants and unlocking a market for an estimated 50 lakh biogas plants in India that today generate no carbon credits despite actively reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Our revenue comes from hardware sales and a share of the carbon credits generated by each device we deploy.
