LetsUpgrade is India’s largest technology learning community with over 5 lakhs students from urban and rural parts of India, where students can learn any technology program for Free. We are trying to provide job placement education for free or at an affordable price for everyone. All teaching is done in a LIVE stream, underpinned by our awesome Massively Open Online Learning Platform (codename LISA, in development) which is a radical new approach to live learning environments. We have turned live teaching platforms upside down, building for large format virtual classrooms, integrating student social networking and highly interactive (non-video) tools that encourage and reward student participation. (No more Zoom fatigue). LISA is a persistent social learning platform that becomes virtual infrastructure, just like how a bricks-and-mortar school is permanent, with students and teachers moving in and out based on need. LISA is designed to be a Platform as a Service (PaaS) which can be sold to traditional universities as well as edtech players, and would augment/replace Google Meet, Zoom etc. Our mission is to save engineering education and the millions of unemployable engineers in India and the developing world. We will do this by making LetsUpgrade's courses and community a part of engineering colleges and students lives. We are on the verge of being accepted by India's education regulator as an Approved Online Course provider, which will give students academic credit for taking our courses, which will be free of cost.
