Brief on JustAct JustAct is an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform being set up by lawyers and professionals to disrupt the way disputes are resolved today. The platform uses Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods including Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration as an alternative to the cumbersome legal process for resolving disputes. The advantage of this Online platform is to provide quick, easy and cost-effective resolution to disputes thereby breaking the deadlock in many a situation. JustAct offers Negotiation as a technology assisted mediation which uses a Game Theory based algorithm to throw up a settlement number and will use AI to improve over time. On the other hand, for Mediation and Arbitration, it adopts the aggregator model by sourcing cases online and having tie ups with reputed arbitration / mediation institutes and independent professionals to resolve disputes. The company is promoted by · Mr N L Rajah, who is a luminary in the field of ADR and is a Senior Advocate in the Hon’ble Madras High Court, and · Mr Karthik Krishna, who was an MD at Deutsche Bank, London and now runs the Telekonnectors group out of Chennai. he is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta and BITS Pilani.
