Maaru AI is building a credit intelligence platform for businesses that need to quickly judge how trustworthy a vendor, partner, or borrower actually is. We’re starting with MSME lending — developing a model to help NBFCs and DSAs assess small business borrowers using GST data and other alternative signals, instead of relying only on traditional credit bureau scores, which often don’t exist for smaller businesses. But the same problem shows up everywhere: a logistics company vetting a new trucking vendor, a marketplace onboarding a supplier, even individuals trying to assess a counterparty they’re about to do business with. Maaru’s goal is to become the go-to credibility check for exactly these situations — fast, data-backed, and built for the Indian context.
