Maatria’s Active Materials Regeneration is a product-first deep-tech startup building compact “micro-plants” that directly regenerate battery-grade cathode active material (LFP / NMC) from cell manufacturing scrap in India. Instead of conventional smelting or hydromet, we use a proprietary regeneration process that preserves the cathode crystal structure, cuts energy and chemical use, and delivers ready-to-coat CAM back to cell makers. This creates an import-substituting, circular, and scalable hardware-plus-process product for India’s lithium-ion ecosystem.
