In the month of March 2021 Ministry of Information & Broadcasting ( Govt. Of India) implemented Digital Media Ethic Code rules 2021. And also, as per its guideline dated Friday, September 10, 2021 Digital Media Publisher should register under any Self Regulatory Body which is registered under MIB and Self Regulatory Body will send detailed information to MIB and also communicate with MIB regarding same. It’s our pleasure to inform you that Ministry of Information & Broadcasting ( Govt. Of India) has registered 'Media9 Digital Media Federation'( MDMF) as a Self Regulatory Body for the registration of News Portals under Information Technology ( Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021.Therefore 'Media9 Digital Media Federation' (MDMF)' as a Self regulatory body registering Digital Media Publishers (News Portals) through Ministry of Information & Broadcasting under the said rules.
