About Moonlit Moonlit Ridge Private Limited, operating under the brand name QAAFI, is a Mumbai-based lifestyle and skincare startup founded in April 2025. The term “Qaafi” meaning “just enough” in Urdu, encapsulates our philosophy of efficacy, minimalism, and mindful consumption. Our Mission To redefine Indian skincare by blending traditional roots with contemporary design and science. QAAFI creates concise, intentional products that cater to real needs, avoiding the clutter and excess prevalent in conventional beauty markets. Our Products & Roots QAAFI launched with the “Qaafi Ignored” line, beginning with a water-based scalp serum and hydrating hand cream, addressing overlooked daily care routines. These products combine thoughtfully sourced Indian ingredients with modern active formulations. Expanding beyond skincare essentials, QAAFI introduced limited-edition sensory drops such as candles, soaps, and designer tote bags. Its festive “Diwali Edit” featured artisanal collaborations, like the Sat Suma, Pichola soap, celebrating heritage through premium formulation and packaging. Design & Brand Identity In partnership with Erth Co., QAAFI's visual identity was crafted to balance modern minimalism and cultural resonance. The bold sans-serif logo with design cues from Devanagari script and nostalgic motifs such as Bollywood-style halftone art and firecracker-inspired packaging reflect an Indian aesthetic with global sensibilities. The brand communicates its ethos through recycled materials, functional layouts, and storytelling packaging that invites mindful use. Why We Exist India’s D2C skincare space was saturated with either overly complex Ayurveda-themed products or foreign-brand imitations. QAAFI emerged to fill a void for original, well-designed, and targeted products rooted in Indian identity, without overwhelming consumers. Our curated offerings invite consumers into simple yet meaningful rituals that respect both tradition and modern needs.
