The Company operates within a specific, underserved niche of India’s wellness economy: modern, urban preventive wellness rooted in classical Ayurvedic knowledge. Rather than positioning Ayurveda as a legacy or rural practice, Dhun reframes it — through diagnostics, protocol, and technology — for a contemporary, urban Indian consumer, delivered in a premium, city-centric format consistent with international longevity and wellness standards. The problem it addresses is large and measurable. Non-communicable, lifestyle-related chronic diseases account for approximately 74% of deaths globally and around 63% of deaths in India (WHO), and Indians lose roughly a decade of healthy life to illness or disability — national life expectancy stands at about 70 years against a healthy life expectancy (HALE) of around 59 years. This burden is substantially preventable, yet India’s preventive-care system is not built to prevent it: individuals move between physicians, diagnostic labs, nutritionists, physiotherapists, and recovery providers as disconnected transactions, with no single owner of the individual’s long-term health, no continuity of data, and no accountability for outcomes. Dhun exists to close that gap — to help people add healthy years, not just lifespan — by combining time-tested Ayurvedic principles with modern longevity science and managing health proactively over time, instead of treating illness after it appears.
