Nimaya Robotics is company started by a technocrat Dr. Ramya S Moorthy who received her Ph.D in Social Robotics. She had developed a series of Robots for training children with autism in psycho motor skills. The research proved that training these children with autism with robots increases their effectiveness by more than 50%. Nimaya is currently developing a series of 12 Robots for training the children with autism in different psycho motor skills. Initial prototype was tried with few students on a pilot basis and based on the feedback received the new system is being developed with advanced features.
