“Okegiga Holiday Pvt. Ltd.” was incorporated on 27th June 2017. It is the brain child of “Explorer and Adventure”, a proprietorship firm that was created in December 2013 with the thought of creating niche in the Adventure Tourism and so this firm were indulging in few activities that were very experimental, new to this region as well as adventurous; like trekking/expeditions to most remote and inaccessible mountain ranges, organizing adventurous events for the corporate, owing unique style Bamboo Cottage House Boat and doing river expeditions across Brahmaputra river, and what more setting up first ever permanent campsite in the world largest river Island Majuli. And this was the beginning. The following year 2017, Okegiga Holiday Pvt. Ltd. established a resort cum camping site by the name of “Okegiga Homes” in Majuli with a land area of 5 bighas. And since then it has been providing its services and facilities to the visiting tourists from all across the world. In parallel, also organizing and conducting many adventure events and activities. Till date it has been able to create direct and indirect local employment of many families and individuals. “Okegiga Holiday Pvt. Ltd.” is also a reputed name now in providing internship to the management students of few Institutions in Assam. With the speed of growth and reputation it has been gaining in this short span of time, Okegiga Holiday Pvt. Ltd is now planning for global entry and expansion.
