Papow International Private Limited was founded on 30th November 2023 by Mr. Brijesh Kumar and Mr. Ranjan Bordoloi, both alumni of the Department of Design, IIT Guwahati. The company was envisioned as a curated lifestyle and design brand that champions creative voices from India and the broader South Asian region. Papow engages in the design, development, marketing, and distribution of original furniture, collectible objects, rugs & other home textiles, and contemporary art-led products. But more than a brand, Papow is a dynamic ecosystem where designers, artists, architects, and engineers collaborate across disciplines to shape thoughtful, future-facing design. The founders bring together complementary strengths: Mr. Ranjan Bordoloi — an internationally acclaimed, award-winning designer — leads Papow’s creative direction. His expertise spans furniture, physical products, and textile R&D, supported by his strong involvement in design academics. Mr. Brijesh Kumar, a seasoned UX designer with over a decade of experience in digital platforms, contributes strategic planning and operational leadership, along with deep knowledge of user-centered design and interaction systems. Together, they are building a bold, culture-driven brand that seamlessly connects the physical and digital worlds of design — rooted in innovation, community, and joy.
