Small-scale industries play a vital role in the economic development of our country. Many sellers have to pay lots to maintain their physical stores. They may need to pay extra upfront costs like rent, repairs, store design, inventory, etc. In many cases, even after investing in services, stock, maintenance, and workforce, sellers don’t receive desired profits and ROI. At this point, there are some mediators involved in this process. This chain involves huge amounts of commission which make agriculture a non-profitable one. One of the biggest advantages of eCommerce to businesses that keep sellers interested in online selling is cost reduction. We are mainly planning to solve the problem of the connection between most of the farmers, and small-scale vendors to the end customers. A seller with a physical store may only be able to reach a certain number of buyers. But, with an online store, they can deliver to the customers’ homes. A recent survey result shows that many small and large businesses are suffering challenges and the unprecedented coronavirus crisis has caused destruction for many businesses around the globe. It is challenging to survive with reduced revenue, jobs lost and life slowing down and weak marketing performance, even difficult to keep a calm head and their business alive. For small and local businesses, making the jump online is a far larger one. During these kinds of challenging times, new small businesses and firms have a high chance of surviving during crisis periods than during the growth period, likely due to the lack of job opportunities. With this business model, farmers can directly sell their products to the end customer through our platform. So, to support these small and medium businesses, we are planning to build a platform that connects and enables small, and medium vendors to go online and sell their products/services. It will connect the farmers and roadside vendors to the end customers directly through our platform, so the middleman's need will be less. As an initial step, we are planning to propose our solution as one of their sales channels and slowly we are planning to expand and that will empower the farming industry to be more profitable. Online marketing is one of those scary and daunting concepts that many small businesses stay away from, however, it can be a digital goldmine for their brand if approached correctly. For small businesses, growth often comes with growing pains. But, their online presence will get them new opportunities and markets, a bigger audience and customer base, and especially loyal connections. They can land well in the search engines and start receiving recurring traffic to their store.
