'proDough' is working to ease the pain expressed by home makers in making rotis. Our core insight is that Indian Cuisine has hundreds of breads (regional ones included), but largely only Phulka / Chapati gets made in the home. Even the phulka / chapati is seen as a thankless task with little value add by the Home-maker. Cooked Indian Breads do not travel well and lose their texture in the travel. Additionally, in the western breads category too, there is high awareness but constrained availability of variety of high quality breads. proDough intends to improve Home Kitchens' access to Indian Breads by selling Fresh, Ready to Cook dough that's convenient, preservative free and healthy. We also intend to include high quality western breads, Doughs and Batters and become a single sourcing point for all roti / bread requirements of Home Kitchens.
