In Tamilnadu, 70 percent of the state's population is involved in agricultural activities. The major crops sown in Tamil Nadu are rice, jowar, ragi, bajra, maize, and pulses. Few other crops that are highly cultivated in the regions of Tamil Nadu are cotton, sugarcane, tea, coffee, and coconut. Agriculture Production goes down when Water scarcity persists leads to poverty. In the period water scarcity comes, less labor on the field necessitates doing some route cause analysis. The analysis says the passage water loss, excess irrigation as well as lesser irrigation affects more on production. The majority of landowners handle the irrigation system through manpower and invest around 40 % for the irrigation process alone. Since Agriculture is back born of Human Community and water resource management is an essential part of that. People started selling field land for building constructions. I think this is the right time to incorporate technology in this field for better yield production. Thus, the problem definition is Water Resource Management related to Agriculture: The excess irrigation as well as lesser irrigation damages the agriculture production that causes great loss to the farmers and landowners. The current needy situation and technological push made to think of alternative solutions for effective irrigation processes. The below problem cycle gives a clear understanding of the necessity of the proposal. Here, we propose a smart irrigation system that helps in auto irrigation. The proposed system compares the cloud database and sensed humidity/moisturization level and does the irrigation process. The added features of our system are, the solution addresses motors running on low/high voltages, will get updates on water availability and can access through a mobile app.
