Romsons Medworld Private Limited proposes to manufacture Foleys Balloon Catheter, Central Venous Catheter and other Medical Catheters, Epidural Anaesthesia Kits, Combined Anaesthesia Needles & Kits, Peritoneal Dialyses Kits, Anaesthesia Ventilators and Ventilator Circuits and Oxygen Concentrators. ‘‘Foleys Balloon Catheter is inserted through the Urethra in the Urinary Bladder and then the Balloon is inflated for anchoring of the Catheter’’ This Catheter remains in the Urine Tract for prolonged period. During the use the Catheter Develops CAUTI (Catheter- Associated Urinary Tract Infection) which forms a Biofilm and resulting in secondary infection in the Patient. In order to cut down the incidence of CAUTI, Romsons Medworld has innovated to coatings, such coated Catheters with anti-microbial coating which will prevent the growth of Micro-organisms in the Catheter & its lumen and prevents the Biofilm formation. Thus, reduces the secondary infection and stay of the patient in the hospital in reduced considerably. Romsons Medworld Private Limited also propose to produce Anaesthesia Needles and Anaesthesia Catheters with anti-microbial coatings which are not here in before produced in India.
