BioShield is a deep-tech hardware platform focused on integrating biological safety into electronic devices and high-contact surfaces. We are developing an embedded Far-UVC based sterilization system using a confined optical chamber architecture, enabling controlled microbial reduction within enclosed environments without external exposure. The technology is designed for integration into consumer electronics such as smartphones, laptops, and tablets, and is extendable to other high-touch devices and shared infrastructure systems where hygiene and contamination control are critical. The system architecture is built to enable rapid sterilization cycles within compact device environments while maintaining safety through controlled emission and shielding mechanisms. BioShield is positioned as a licensing platform for OEM manufacturers and system integrators, enabling scalable deployment of biological safety features across a wide range of devices without requiring changes to user behavior. The company is currently progressing toward prototype development, real-world validation, and regulatory compliance for safe and scalable integration. The long-term roadmap includes development of custom semiconductor components (ASIC) to optimize power efficiency, miniaturization, and system integration for large-scale deployment.
