Six things we look for on every record: DPIIT recognition, a CIN, a website, a description, a logo and a funding signal. Not held here: DPIIT recognised, CIN on file and Funding signal.

In their own words
Company name: sahinotes Byline: notes sharing community Problem: Many students use notes to prepare for their exams or additional support material. Students ask for notes from their relatives. In this case, the notes are passed down from individual to individual. There is no organised way to share and get notes on a topic. People upload notes on various platforms such as Instagram, telegram, amazon, etc. Also, with notes available on such different platforms, It gets hard for students to compare notes from other platforms. Solution : sahinotes is a notes sharing community. It promotes the habit of making good notes while learning and sharing it with others. Students, teachers and organizations are the stakeholders in both sharing and consuming notes. Students can make their profile more credible by verifying their exam scores and ranks. For teachers and organizations, we would have background checks on 1-1 basis to verify their authenticity. Ways to acquire notes: sahinotes approaches toppers for their notes. We would take their notes, scan them and upload them subject and chapter-wise on our platform. This ensures quality notes on our platform. People will upload their notes along with their achievements. Suppose someone uploads notes for JEE Mains, they would need to upload their JEE Mains Rank and we would be verifying using Digilocker. Revenue: There are 2 payment plans. Students can access all documents with Rs. 99/month or Rs. 999/year subscription. The second way is to pay for every document they want to see which would be around Rs 15-20/chapter of notes. Searching for notes: Students will choose the exam for which they want to find the notes. Then they can search for a particular chapter in a particular subject. They would be shown notes along with respective feedback, and ratings. Students can also form groups and purchase notes at a discounted rate. For example, if 3 students want to buy notes worth Rs. 100 then buying individually they would have to pay 100 each. If they form a study group and buy together we would offer a 40% discount on Rs. 300 saving them some money individually. Why now? Booming EdTech sector in India. Increased mobile penetration in students due to covid.

The neighbourhood
This record carries no locality line, so the district is the finest ring we can place it in.
What we do not know
- no CIN on file, so no company-registry record is linked
- no incorporation date
- no funding signal of any kind
- no address beyond the district
We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.
