SAMUDRA Consultants (SCPL) is an incubated company of IIT Madras. It is an initiative of Dr.V.Sundar, Dr. K.Murali and Dr. S.A.Sannasiraj all Professors of the Department of Ocean Engineering who have been active over the past three decades in providing solutions to a variety of problems related to coastal and port engineering. SAMUDRA is an endeavor aimed at providing technologically and commercially effective solutions to Coastal and Ocean Engineering problems. We provide solutions through continuous field monitoring, numerical modelling and development of custom desktop and web based software applications for the real time problems in the coastal and Inland waterways. We offer software tools, training, consulting services and customised model developments to a range of national and local governments, planners, educators, students, international agencies, private consultants and companies in order to meet their needs for addressing coastal and ocean engineering issues.
