SAW (Science Active World) STEM is a mission made by Group of Engineers where we inspire the next generation of STEM students leaders by developing a passion for STEM careers at a young age and maintaining interest throughout to individuals. We provide students with an experiential education that excites, engages, and enriches through a unique, learn-by-doing curriculum. “SAW STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines science, technology, engineering and mathematics in an interdisciplinary and applied approach.” In basic terms, it means these four areas are taught in a manner that combines each one, to better equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a career in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). All young people should be prepared to think deeply and to think well so that they have the chance to become the innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges facing our nation and our world, both today and tomorrow. But, right now, not enough of our youth have access to quality STEM learning opportunities and too few students see these disciplines as springboards for their careers. With the growing number of jobs that require 21st Century skills and experience in a scientific, technological, engineering, or mathematical field, we feel that it’s extremely important to make our young students aware of the opportunities that are available to them. Engineering for students sets itself apart by encouraging children to engage with a diverse curriculum and by integrating the Engineering Design Process into every lesson. Once formal education is complete, the journey does not stop there. Students must then use the skills and knowledge acquired in and out of the classroom to embark on a fulfilling career path. By providing students a quality education in STEM subjects and exposing them to real world uses, they may be more apt to maintain interest in the field. By teaching STEM subjects in an immersive and practical way, educators are inspiring and motivating future leaders in the field.
