Shekhawati Global Chemicals Private Limited is setting up a specialty chemicals manufacturing unit in Rajasthan with two product lines: (i) Epoxy Resins with an installed capacity of 1.5 MT per day and (ii) Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) with an installed capacity of 0.5 MT per day. The company has acquired industrial land through RIICO allotment and is currently in the phase of procurement of plant and machinery and allied equipment. The epoxy resin plant is planned to be installed and commissioned within one year, and the HPMC plant is planned to be installed in the next four years as part of a phased expansion plan. The epoxy resin range will serve high-growth downstream sectors such as industrial and protective coatings, construction chemicals, adhesives, electrical and electronics applications, and composite materials. The HPMC range will address demand from pharmaceutical formulations (as an excipient and binder) and construction chemical applications, with product grades aligned to relevant statutory approvals and quality standards. The venture aims to strengthen domestic supply chains and reduce dependency on imports by delivering consistent-quality products supported by strong process controls and quality systems. The project is designed with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and responsible manufacturing practices, and is expected to generate direct and indirect employment across operations, quality assurance, maintenance, logistics, and administration.
