The Shining Ears Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to empowering individuals with hearing loss, focusing particularly on supporting those from underprivileged backgrounds. The Foundation, established in 2023 by Dr. Harika Surapaneni and Mrs. Prerna Reddy, is an organization dedicated to addressing hearing loss challenges. The foundation's inception stems from a shared vision by its founders to ensure that hearing loss does not impede individual success. At the core of the foundation's mission is the commitment to provide access to cochlear implants, a revolutionary technology that can significantly improve hearing capabilities. Driven by compassion and innovation. Our Vision “At Shining Ears Foundation, an NGO driven by compassion and innovation, our vision is to bridge the gap caused by deafness, especially in economically disadvantaged children – a vision inspired by the timeless words of Helen Keller. We believe that financial constraints should never be a barrier to the world of sound and opportunity. Our commitment extends to providing pro bono and low-cost cochlear implant surgeries, ensuring that the gift of hearing is accessible to all children in need. Recognizing the importance of early intervention, we place a strong emphasis on the early detection of hearing loss. This approach is complemented by our dedication to post-surgical therapies, including comprehensive speech therapy, which are crucial in helping these young minds grow and integrate seamlessly into society.
