This STARTUP Project is within the framework of LLP and emerged out of gaps between Government Agencies (including PSUs) and MSEs owned by first generation SC/ST/Women entrepreneurs. For example, two such major gaps are pointed hereby as follows: · Target achieved in the year 2018-19 was 0.54% and that in the year 2019-20 was 0.48% against specified target of 4% from MSEs owned by SC/ST. Target for women entrepreneurs is 3%. · In the year 2018-19 total 2570 Vendor Development Programs (VDP) were organized and in the year 2019-20 was 1478. · The actual status during the Financial Year 2020-21 is yet to be known by the end of financial year. However, it seems to be more desperating compared to previous years. These gaps clearly indicate need of innovative ideas to improve VDP and achieve targets in order to create more employment and wealth creation. There are other gaps too to be considered while implementing this project. For the purpose of our business the meaning of “Bridging Gap” is limited to the gaps in achievement of targets specified in the Public Procurement Policy and the matter related therewith.
