At Sirab Technologies, we are solving challenges in road transportation with 'SAE Level 4' automated driving systems, where technology provider can take liability for 'assuring safety' for driving instead of the human driver. Assuring safety would be the key challenge to move to SAE Level 4 automated systems. With wireless and synchronous control links and automotive radars, Sirab is developing high reliable solutions for vehicle platooning and lane keeping systems. Globally, while there are many autonomous vehicle approaches that are being pursued, “safety assurance” with high reliable guidance system is still a key challenge that Sirab Technologies is trying to address. Sirab team, with core expertise in building safety and security critical systems for aviation, is trying to solve this challenge with our unique patented (in US) approach which can support in deployment of platooned convoy of commercial vehicles at high speed to improve safety, capacity and operational efficiency of transportation systems.
