At Sparrow Mobility, we are dedicated to creating the most innovative and sustainable transport ecosystem in India. We are partnering with small and medium level regional bus operators and empowering them with digital tools and data driven expertise required to create and profitably run their long distance bus service networks. At present, passengers travelling long distances by buses lack access to basic amenities like clean toilets and hygienic food during the journey. The travel experience is also highly inconsistent due to poorly maintained buses and untrained staff. Bus operators at present do not possess the relevant technologies and tools to solve these problems for passengers and deliver a frictionless travel experience at scale. There is a huge demand - supply gap in providing standard amenities in buses like onboard toilets, WiFi, charging ports, safety seat belts, food & beverages, etc., and such amenities are currently only present in less than 1% of buses in India. Through partnership with local bus operators, we install the above mentioned standard amenities in their buses under our platform. We also build mobile/web apps and employ ground level staff to empower local operators track and improve key aspects of the transport service such as driving quality, fuel efficiency, cleanliness, staff friendliness, etc. All of these improvements will ensure the delivery a consistently high quality travel experience for the passengers. We follow a cooperative business model wherein we identify and partner with region-specific small and medium scale bus operators who possess the know-hows on passenger movement and trends in their respective regions. This helps us customise our services to meet the demands of passengers in different regions. We generate revenue by managing the ticket sales for the buses run under our platform and through consultation for design and fitment of amenities in the busess. Combining unmatched safety, comfort and convenience, Sparrow Bus is set to redefine our long distance inter-city bus travel experience.
