We were never happy with the daily morning car cleaning services provided in our area by local boys. Since they use dirty water, hardly clean from inside, rarely pick our calls and above all poor attendance. All this led us to start Gaadi A1. Through this venture we wanted to provide basic car cleaning and car maintenance services at customer doorstep. We ran the pilot project for this service for 9 months in DDA housing societies in Vasant Kunj Delhi from July 2021 to February 22. We hired the local boys, trained them and equipped them with right cleaning tools to clean the cars every morning (6 days a week) between 5:30-9:30 Am. Customer response was good since we were regular, using proper brushes, microfiber clothes to clean the cars, registering regular customer feedback, collecting payment digitally. providing basic maintenance like tire puncture, battery issue etc. Customer wanted us to provide car annual services, car sale purchase and house cleaning services too. Major challenge was to maintain the part-time car cleaners. As they were having their main job also and we were not able to give them full time job so the attrition rate was very high. Basis our experience, we believe that full time & trained manpower, mobile app based morning to evening subscription based cleaning and maintenance services over large geography can really scale up the business. We believe that this service has great future as this service will be stepping stone for many other car related services. We truly believe in our idea and want to build a great team to provide great services to customer.
