Mr. Sriram is basically an organic paddy farmer. He is from Tamil Nadu State of India.He has been awarded in recognition of his committed work in reviving, experimenting, popularizing and saving more than 172 traditional paddy varieties, being a model and motivation force other farmers in promoting organic farming and converting his farm as a center for learning ecological agriculture alternatives both production, value addition on rice and marketing. He is selling his different traditional organic rice varieties directly to the consumer using PGS certificate under his own brand name "Organic Way".
