Swaaha Resource Management Pvt. Ltd. (Swaaha), is a startup founded by alumni of Indian Institute of Technology Indore and recognised by the Government of India. Inspired by the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Swaaha offers it’s unique, indigenously designed and developed Solid Waste Management Technology Solutions and Services to various Urban Local Bodies, Government Institutions and Private Organisations. S waaha was ideated to get to the bottom of the grave problem of waste. The problem of waste is widespread across multiple domains, deep in numerous levels and needless to mention, huge in magnitude. The name Swaaha is taken from initials of words Swachh (Clean) and Hara (Green), which are two fundamental tenets of proper waste management. Equipped with global technology and emphasis on local solutions, Swaaha offers technology solutions and services tailor-made for the ever dynamic requirements of contemporary Urban Indian Cities. These technology solutions and services are in line with the goals and missions of the Solid Waste Management Rules - 2016, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Swachh Survekshan, Star Ratings for Garbage Free Cities and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Swaaha’s solutions include 360° Turnkey Technology Solutions for Municipal Solid Waste Management with Smart Drum Composter, Mobile Composting Van, Bio-Methanation Plant and Material Recovery Facility. These solutions coupled with Swaaha’s Operation & Maintenance Services and Smart Data Analytics for Waste Management make a complete eco-system for an integrated solid waste management for smart, sustainable cities of future. Swaaha has a significant contribution in helping Indore achieve the tag of “Cleanest City of India” in the Swachh Survekshan for three times in a row. We are also a “Golden Book of World Record Holder” for the “Largest quantity of organic waste from an event processed into compost on site” and the awardee of the “Best Startup – Dr. Shirin Gadhia Sustainability Award”
