1. Most of the farmers are in financial stress due to various reasons. 2. Many agritech startups/companies are not able to scale up their businesses as the farmers could not spend money for new technology. 3. Every farmer is unique and their issues are also unique. Agritech companies/startups are not able to offer multiple/customised solutions to farmers. They offer single product / service which may not suit many of the farmers. We are establishing set up/ infrastructure where we bring all the agritech companies/ startups on a single platform. We analyse the farmer’s needs and offer him products/services from one or multiple agritech companies. For eg. If a coconut farmer says he needs Iot based irrigation because of water shortage but could not spend money, we offer (a) iot based irrigation – from a partner (b) Arrange finance from NBFC or Bank (c) Offer pepper saplings as intercrop in coconut to increase income (d) If he is interested we arrange to establish small scale poultry – from a partner to increase his income (e) We arrange for Health and Crop insurance cover to him (f) Our representative is ideally a village youth who lives closely to the farmer. (g) We can offer a prepaid card too where he can save small amounts of money whenever he has some money and use the same for purchase of goods, fertilisers etc. Similarly for a vegetable farmer we will have a customised solution based on his needs like robotic weeding etc. This helps farmers to adapt technology easily and increase his income. This helps agritech companies/startups to scaleup easily
