TECHSOL CHEMICALS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED is an early-stage manufacturing startup based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, engaged in the research, development and production of GRIPMAX — a heavy-duty industrial hand cleaner built on a clay-based adsorption system combined with a plant-derived natural surfactant system. GRIPMAX is among the first indigenously-developed industrial hand cleaners in India to combine a bentonite–kaolin clay adsorption mechanism with a plant-derived natural surfactant system (saponified coconut oil and alkyl polyglucoside) and citrus-derived essential oils, formulated for waterless or minimal-water application. While clay-based natural hand cleaners exist in certain international markets, no comparable Indian-manufactured product was identified during our market study, positioning GRIPMAX as a genuine Make-in-India alternative to imported premium natural industrial cleaners. The innovation rests on three pillars that are individually established but, in combination and in the Indian manufacturing context, represent a novel approach: • Waterless / minimal-water application — addressing acute water scarcity in industrial and rural India, aligned with national water-conservation priorities. • Plant-derived, biodegradable chemistry — replacing petroleum solvents and sulfate surfactants with coconut-derived soap, sugar-derived surfactant (APG), and clay adsorption. • Indigenous manufacturing (Make in India) — an import-substitution alternative to foreign premium industrial cleaners currently dominating this niche in India. The current formulation (internally designated V2.5.5) is the result of an extended, iterative in-house research and development process spanning multiple formulation generations.
