In their own words
With 15 years of experience in early childhood education and child care, Dr Priyanka Sharma and Suhani Gupta teamed up to create a unique early childcare program named – The Nurturing Roots. The Nurturing Roots curriculum has a multi-sensory integrated approach to learning and development. We also focus on exploration of our children’s interests in music, arts, creativity, games and sports. Our emphasis, in addition to academics, is on inculcating necessary moral values, life skills and EQ development to provide a solid foundation for our children to realise their potential in life. We at The Nurturing Roots, enable our kids to discover and develop in an array of aspects may it be communication, discovering their creative self, development of interpersonal behaviour, enhancing their social interaction ability and most importantly bringing them up with morals and principles. We organise different kinds of competitions to test their compatibility with skills and how much have they learnt, different sports events to make them physically and mentally active, and many class bonding sessions to develop team spirit and develop their communication skills. Our spacious centres are equipped with excellent infrastructure including large play areas, a wide array of equipment, toys and books. Our centres are designed keeping children in mind, and provide a safe and hygienic environment with a crisp colourful ambience for their smooth growth and development. We have received an overwhelming response since our launch in 2021 and we are now present in 6 centres in Navi Mumbai and Pune. We plan to add another 10 centres in the coming academic year and build The Nurturing Roots as a trusted brand for child care.
