Trails started with a vision of Optimizing, Humanizing and Digitizing the logistics setup. We at Trails focus on simplifying complex logistics problem. We provide individual logistics solutions, storage, distribution logistics and outsourcing solutions. We also engage ourselves with customers to understand their requirements and build solutions custom tailored to serve their needs. Our vision being divided into three parts, we start with Optimizing: One of the major contributing attribute to the number of shipments done by a company is the number of trucks available in its fleet at its disposal. We plan to step up this number by partnering with existing truck owners where we take their trucks on lease or rental basis. This ensures that the fleet constructed is at our disposal. Humanizing: Our vision is to bring about an impactful change in this unorganized potential infused industry where the lives of the truck drivers, truck owners and everyone involved in this line can be made so much better. Digitizing: We establish an ease of management with our online app which also works on machine learning to provide the best match experience during booking. We have created a conceptual device called the Tech Box which acts as a CPU and is physically placed on every truck we deal in, for secured incident login we also embed block chain system. How we plan to meet the above declared principles: There are numerous truck owners in our country who own multiple trucks and are still unable to run/make profit out of them. We plan to target such trucks and bring them on board with us, this way it's a win-win for both. By doing so they are no more liable to any truck operational costs. As per a recent study there are only 480 truck drivers per 1000 trucks in the market. We plan on increasing the drivers by making the profession itself a more appealing one. We plan on a fixed pay plus incentive model for the drivers, and also providing them with health and life insurance covers and easing their commutes by installing pit stops on our major routes at strategic locations and also reducing their continuous driving time by implementing a relay model so that they also get quality time with their family and friends. In our online system, the booking to invoice delivery to payments, all are handled online with digital signature for verified credibility making the process hassle free. We also plan on introducing a new concept device called the Tech Box fixed on each truck with a central server connectivity, by implementing Tech Box we are introducing high standards at low costs for unmatched performance. We also make the most out of the Block Chain system. By doing so the digital footprint is recorded at every step of the process thus ensuring there’s no room for error or sabotage, and if at all it happens it can be tracked back to the point of origin with precision.
