Innovation Lendbox is an online credit marketplace that focuses on providing its users with personal finance solutions through Peer-to-peer Lending as well as through Institutional Investors. We go beyond conventional ways of risk assessment of the borrowers before listing them onto the platform. We do Data analytics of the borrower on various data points such as his net salary, expenditure trend, education, qualification, industry type, asset holding, Utility and mobile bills, credit card expenditure, locality of stay and city, online spending behavior etc. to understand the risk of the user rather than relying only on Bureau score as most of the Financial Institutions in the country do. Improvement Borrowers would borrow through a P2P lending platform as it increases their chances of getting financing at a cheaper rate due to the profiling and risk assessment performed by such platforms and makes the overall processing faster, less complex without any hidden charges. Investors would lend through a P2P lending platform as they get much higher returns on their investments compared to banks and volatile securities markets Scalability The Personal Loan market in India is projected to be worth US$ 110 billion in the near future as per historical growth from data provided by the RBI. Validation As on 31 January 2018 Lendbox has disbursed loans worth over Rs 30 crore comprising of over 3100 unique loans.
