The ePlane Company (Ubifly Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) is building India's first and the world's most compact flying electric taxis to alleviate congestion in cities worldwide through India. We are developing electric air transportation systems for cargo transmission and intra-city commute and aim to take our innovative technology to the global markets. Incubated out of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, The ePlane Company was founded in 2017 by Professor Satya Chakravarthy, Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Madras and Pranjal Mehta, a 2019 IIT Madras Graduate. Cities need safe, quiet and ecologically sustainable transport. Markets need affordable, high mileage and easily certifiable products. Consumers need accessible, on demand and affordable travel. We envision achieving all these goals, making commutes 10x faster, offering quick, convenient and hassle-free transport with significant time saving. We have a steadily growing team of passionate people from diverse backgrounds, helping us develop solutions with increased efficiency. Our flagship product, the ePlane e200 is India's first revolutionary eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-off and Landing) system that is focused on delivering an immersive intra-city city user experience of picking one up from their doorstep to dropping them to their end destination safely in significantly less time. With a 5 x 5 m footprint, it can travel at a speed of 160 kmph and has a travel range 200+ km, hence the e200 can make several short hops in a single charge, making it the most efficient solution to reduce traffiic congestion in cities. Our mission is to offer safe, sustainable and affordable electric aviation experiences to masses all over the world.
