We are a social enterprise funded by Acumen and supported by FSG. We increase the learning impact through executing experiential learning maths program in everyday teaching-learning practice inside classroom. Currently we are implementing our program in affordable Private, NGO and Government schools of Delhi, UP, Jharkhand, Punjab and Bengaluru. Our Delhi and UP Government projects are funded by GE Foundation, Nucleus Software Foundation and Smile Foundation. Instead of “chalk & talk”, curriculum is completed through blended learning approach which includes best of online and offline model. Learning process starts, and end with online assessment. First baseline assessment is conducted to identify learning gaps. Implementation plan is devised as per the gaps. Concepts are introduced using physical learning aids. Once fundamental understanding is developed in school, concepts are reinforced while playing mobile games at home on parents’ handset. Thus, understanding and practice of mathematical concepts becomes fun activity. In the next step, this understanding is applied on course book. Both activities and application are assessed by our online assessment platform and diagnostic report is generated. The impact of our program is phenomenal. Independent studies have been conducted by Carmel Group of Schools, GreyMatters (a market research firm) and Acumen (US-based NGO). Parents and Teachers have seen significant improvement in the interest level and scores of children.
