We are developing a platform that will analyze voice of an individual to be able to diagnose presence/absence of certain diseases. We have already developed algorithms that can help with screening for abnormalities of thyroid function with >90% accuracy (in 250 patients). We are working on filing a patent and doing a large scale clinical validation of this technology. We have a pipeline of other diseases where the same technology will be applied (e.g., parkinson's disease, COPD, depression). Using voice as a diagnostic biomarker is a unique way to screen patients for diseases. It is easy to access, convenient and cost-effective. Once proven the diagnostic test can reach crores of Indian people through mobile app or internet driven platforms, and do an effective screening of diseases - resulting in early diagnosis and improvement in overall health of people.
