Welfin is a fee-based financial planning and wealth management services company with a motto to enable our customers to “Dream, Plan & Achieve” by aiding them achieve their financial goals through appropriate guidelines on planning through coverage/investments in mutual funds, insurance products etc. from a standpoint of neutrality. Headquartered in Kolkata, we have built a successful business model over the last couple of years with over six thousand customers. The workforce comprises of qualified Certified Financial Planners (CFP), Chartered Accountants (CAs) and Company Secretaries (CSs) among others. Within a span of three years apart from catering whole of Bengal we have successfully forayed into different geographies i.e. Patna & Darbhanga in Bihar, Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad in Jharkhand, the whole of North East India, Bangalore in Karnataka etc. We are keen to cater to individuals across every strata of society to foster India’s inclusive growth story. Vision - Improve the financial wellbeing of the households and business entities. Post liberalization (July 1991) there has been a paradigm shift in the financial sector both in terms of regulatory environment and availability of financial products. Unfortunately it could not change the way business is conducted in this sector and it continues to remain primitive. The financial institutions and their distributors continue to engage in short term orientations and hard selling due to competitive pressure resulting in customers spending their hard earned money on products which is not suited in their best interests and are outright harmful at times. We fill this void in the ecosystem by creating a win-win situation in both short and long term by making every participant a winner, including ourselves through our new business model which is free from any legacy mindset being a new generation enterprise. Mission - To be an intermediary bridging the financial needs of households and business with the spectrum of offerings from the financial institutions. We create last mile connectivity for financial institutions with household and business enterprises. Instead of selling financial products per se, we help the households and businesses in meeting their financial requirements in a holistic manner over their life cycles dynamically. We design an optimum combination of products tailored to maximize their objectives (needs, expectations and aspirations) of individual entities and if they want, we help them in implementing the plan in the right manner. Planning than to selling and being product neutral makes our model highly sustainable involving value creation, sharing rather than snatching which end in destroying the hard end money of households and business enterprises.
