Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) at NITI Aayog is mandated to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in India. AIM has selected a number of institutions to support them in establishing the Atal Community Innovation Centers (ACICs). Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology has been selected from Telangana by AIM and received approval for the establishment of the Atal Community Innovation Centre (ACIC) at the CBIT Campus. CBIT is the first institute to establish an ACIC in the state of Telangana. ACIC-CBIT aligns its activities to engage a large number of grassroots innovators, communities, students, and academicians in various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities such as ideation, Problem-solving, proof-of-concept development, Design Thinking, IPR, etc.
