Advanced MechIntel Dynamics Private Limited (AMID) is an innovative startup based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, focused on revolutionizing the Indian drone ecosystem. Our mission is to enhance the nation's technological capabilities by developing fully Indian drones with cutting-edge hardware, firmware, and AI solutions. Unlike most local drone manufacturers who rely heavily on imported components, resulting in high costs, low customizability, and potential security risks, AMID proudly manufactures its own components. This not only strengthens the Indian electronics and drone industries but also mitigates the risks associated with foreign dependency. At AMID, we focus on modularizing our drone designs. This unique approach allows customers to easily purchase and attach or detach various components, such as cameras, gimbals, and additional batteries, as per their requirements. By offering such flexibility, we are able to significantly reduce costs and improve the overall customizability of our drones, making them highly suitable for a diverse range of applications, from industrial uses to recreational activities. One of the standout features of AMID drones is their upcoming integration with India’s own GPS system, NavIC. By utilizing NavIC, we enhance the geospatial accuracy of our drones, which is crucial for applications that demand precise navigation and data collection. Our commitment to advancing drone technology goes beyond product development. We are actively addressing the slow adoption of drones in India, driven by factors such as regulatory hurdles, limited expertise, high costs, and poor customer support. To combat these challenges, AMID plans to establish training and support centers across the country. These centers will not only offer training programs for drone pilots but also provide repair and maintenance services, contributing to India’s Skill India mission. We aim to certify pilots and connect them with various drone application opportunities.
