Aradhy Hospicare Pvt Ltd is an enterprise owned primarily by a woman entrepreneur (Mrs Priyanka Tiwari). Situated at Barddhaman in West Bengal which is 100 km from its capital Kolkata. The other director is Mr Sandip Kr Tiwari, both having 20 years’ experience in medicine retailing business. This is a start-up in manufacturing sector and is about manufacturing ready to wear garments of quality both reusable and disposable garments, apparels and linens for medical industries. The very basic aim of this start-up is wealth creation and employment generation especially among women. With the advent of Covid 19 we realised the importance of medical apparels and opportunity in it. The growth rate of medical apparels during Covid was 31.8% and China was the basic supplier of everything, so we decided to start a manufacturing business where we can become an export house within 3-4 yrs. This is a sunrise industry sector with a global market size of 86.14 billion USD in 2020 and expected to reach 140.64 billion USD by 2028 with a CAGR of 5.9% the growth of Asia Pacific region is 9% (input from Fortune Business Insight). The domestic growth too is around 6% CAGR. for medical uniforms. We chose this field because the requirement is more or less round the year and now it’s becoming a fashion statement among medical professionals to wear Scrubs and proper uniforms that can identify them from the rests.
