FEEDSENSE AI PRIVATE LIMITED aims to use artificial intelligence and statistics linked techniques and methods to create products for banking and finance sectors. Proposed products will be primarily web based and aim individuals as well as corporates. The company will work in close collaboration with educational institutes and industries to develop products. A note on Vista’s products are outlined below. Predicting markets: Financial markets have always attracted interests from investors as the market has historically given returns to many. However uncertainty around prices has always made investment decision and timings matters of infinite debates. Recently AI has proved to have become an effective tool for enhancing prediction abilities. From conventional number based post trade data analytics the market has now started analysing social media to capture trends. Vista aims to prepare an engine to predict markets using social media signals. News recommendations: Today news has become omnipresent. Sometime making sense of all such news takes enormous amount of efforts. If an engine is made available which can extract the crux from a large text or a group of texts then perhaps readers will benefit immensely. Using AI it is also possible to recommend news based on someone’s reading habits. Vista’s news recommendation system will make the life of news readers much more convenient. Financial statement summariser: Financial statements broadly follow a particular patter. A particular statement sometime required to be compared with peers. Sometime based on publication of financial results, prices of listed stocks react. Vista plans to create a product which will capture the sense of a published financial statement and will compare the same instantly with peers. Then the same will present the summary and possible impact on prices. In stage two perhaps will take up the following products Fraud detection: Fraud detection is one of the fields which has received massive boost in providing accurate and superior results with the intervention of artificial intelligence. It’s one of the key areas in banking sector where artificial intelligence systems have excelled the most. Starting from the early example of successful implementation of data analysis techniques in the banking industry is the FICO Falcon fraud assessment system, which is based on a neural network shell to deployment of sophisticated deep learning based artificial intelligence systems today, fraud detection has come a long way and is expected to further grow in coming years. Chat bots are already being extensively used in the banking industry to revolutionize the customer relationship management at personal level. Bank of America plans to provide customers with a virtual assistant named “Erica” who will use artificial intelligence to make suggestions over mobile phones for improving their financial affairs. Allo, released by Google is another generic realization of chat bots. With time, these chat bots collect massive amount of data for the behaviour and habits of the user and learns the behaviour of user which helps to adapts to the needs and moods of the end user. Customer recommendations : Recommendation engines are a key contribution of artificial intelligence in banking sector. It is based on using the data from the past about users and/ or various offerings from a bank like credit card plans, investment strategies, funds, etc. to make the most appropriate recommendation to the user based on their preferences and the users’ history. Recommendation engines have been very successful and a key component in revenue growth accomplished by major banks in recent times. In summary banks are using cutting edge artificial intelligence techniques for risk assessment, financial analysis, portfolio management, credit approval process, KYC & anti-money laundering systems, achieving operational efficiency and better customer interactions.
